The Mfantseman–Saltpond Development Alliance (MSDA) officially kick-starts the 2nd Edition of the Saltpond Homecoming Festival with the maiden Inter-School Quiz Competition (Preliminary Stage), bringing together 16 basic schools from the Saltpond Circuit. The competition was filled with excitement as students demonstrated exceptional knowledge, confidence, and academic brilliance in their quest for a place in the grand finale.

At the end of the keenly contested preliminary stage, Mfantsiman M/A, Methodist A, SS. Peter and Paul Anglican, Kuntu Methodist, Catholic Boys, and Rev. Wilson B. booked their places in the grand finale, which is scheduled for 24th August 2026 at Hammond Hall, Saltpond.

Speaking at the event, the Founder and President of the Mfantseman–Saltpond Development Alliance (MSDA), Osagyefo Ernest De-Graft Egyir, reaffirmed the Alliance’s unwavering commitment to education. He assured teachers and students that MSDA has the welfare and academic success of students at heart and will continue to support initiatives that promote educational excellence. As the first-ever quiz competition under the Saltpond Homecoming Festival, the event marked a historic milestone in MSDA’s mission to nurture young talents and inspire academic achievement across the Saltpond Circuit.
